Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how VegasNearMe (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a service of NearMe Entertainment, collects and uses information when you visit book.vegasnearme.com (the “Site”) or make a hotel booking through us. We are the data controller for the personal information we collect from you.
1. What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to deliver a hotel booking and prevent fraud:

We do not ask for or knowingly collect government IDs, passport numbers, race, religion, health information, or other sensitive categories of personal data.
2. Why we collect it
- To process your hotel booking — we forward the necessary booking details to our hotel inventory partner so the hotel can hold and check you into your room.
- To send confirmation, modification, and cancellation emails related to your booking.
- To process payment through Stripe and handle refunds, chargebacks, and disputes.
- To prevent fraud and abuse — e.g., spotting stolen-card test patterns, mismatched billing/checkout IPs, and rate-limiting suspicious traffic.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To comply with our legal obligations — tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, lawful subpoenas, and similar requirements.
- To improve the Site — aggregate traffic patterns and error logs so we can fix bugs and make the booking flow faster.
Our legal bases under the GDPR are: contract (processing necessary to deliver your booking), legal obligation (tax/accounting), and legitimate interest (fraud prevention and Site improvement, balanced against your privacy).
3. We do not sell personal data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not use it to train machine-learning models. We do not deploy ad-tracking pixels or third-party marketing trackers on this Site.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) we have not sold or shared the personal information of any consumer in the prior 12 months and have no plans to.
4. Data retention
We keep booking records for seven (7) years after the check-out date, then delete them. Seven years is required to satisfy U.S. federal and state tax, accounting, and consumer-protection record-keeping rules, and to handle any late-arising chargebacks or legal claims.
Other data is kept only as long as needed:
- Server logs (IP, user agent, request paths) — up to 90 days, then rotated and discarded.
- Support emails — up to 3 years from last contact.
- Failed/abandoned bookings — up to 30 days, then deleted.
- Marketing emails — we do not send marketing emails from book.vegasnearme.com. If you sign up for the broader VegasNearMe newsletter elsewhere, you can unsubscribe at any time from any newsletter email.
5. Third parties we share data with
We share the minimum data needed with the following processors. Each is contractually bound to handle your data only for the purposes we direct.

We will also disclose data when required by law, court order, or lawful subpoena, and to enforce our Terms or protect the safety, rights, or property of users, the public, VegasNearMe, or our partners.
6. Your rights
European Economic Area, United Kingdom & Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to our legal retention obligations — for example, completed bookings cannot be deleted from accounting records before the 7-year retention period.
- Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — not applicable, since we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — not applicable, since we do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to perform the booking.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, change pricing, or degrade your experience for exercising any right under this policy.
How to exercise your rights
Email George@xarray.com from the address associated with your booking, with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA). We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or deleting data — typically by confirming details from a recent booking.
7. Cookies
This Site uses session cookies only. Their sole purpose is to keep you signed in to property management features (where applicable) and to retain your search dates as you move between pages. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site trackers.
You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of any active sessions.
8. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all traffic between your browser and our servers.
- Card data handled exclusively by PCI-DSS Level 1 certified Stripe — never transmitted to or stored on our application servers.
- Server-level firewall, IP rate limiting, and intrusion-detection monitoring.
- Encrypted database backups with restricted access.
- Principle-of-least-privilege access for staff, with audit logging.
No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a personal-data breach that meets the legal threshold for notification, we will notify affected users and regulators within the timelines required by law (72 hours under GDPR).
9. Children
This Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, contact George@xarray.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will, where reasonably practical, be communicated to active customers by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
